Job summary

Pratt Industries in the San Antonio area is seeking a high-energy, dedicated, technically minded sales professional to help us meet our exciting growth objectives. The role emphasizes prospecting, relationship development, entertainment, and value-based selling.

You will collaborate with a dedicated team from manufacturing, customer service, and quality to sell and service our corrugated packaging products. The position offers a compensation structure with commissions.

Qualifications

• Outside selling experience or related experience or a college degree.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Able to load and unload samples from vehicle.
• College degree preferred in graphics, packaging, sales or business.
• Experience in the corrugated box industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep an updated and accurate list of prospects and accounts.
• Analyze and qualify prospective accounts.
• Conduct initial contact and sales calls to accounts, selling and establishing relationships to produce first time and repeat business
• Surpass sales quota commitments for your area of responsibility.
• Implementing sales strategies.
• Creating and maintaining customer and prospective relationships.
• Managing and closing new sales.
• Pricing and value proposal creation.
• Traveling as necessary to cover territory and fulfill any other responsibilities.
• Keeping current on the competitive activity in the area.
