Job summary

Acosta is hiring an Outside Sales Representative in Clinton Township, MI to drive sales growth and brand presence within an assigned territory. You will engage customers, perform merchandising activities, and build strong relationships while meeting dynamic sales targets.

The role requires traveling to multiple stores, promoting and selling CPG products, and delivering exceptional customer experiences in a field-based setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in outside sales, CPG industry, retail or field sales, and/or territory/route sales & merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales performance by promoting and selling consumer packaged goods (CPG) products and merchandising within assigned territory.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, store personnel and client stakeholders to drive in store sales growth.
• Execute merchandising standards including displays and promotions.
• Participate in in-store sales events and promotional events.
• Identify new sales opportunities and expand product distribution.
• Manage assigned territory through effective routing and prioritization.
• Communicate sales performance insights to internal teams and clients.
• Complete reporting and administrative tasks.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and merchandising standards.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products sold and new product launches.
• Keep management informed of store issues, competitive activity, and market trends.
• Ensure full product distribution and display in all assigned accounts.
• Document and report activities, including sales results, merchandising, and store observations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
