Job summary

Allegiant Business Group is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to work with business owners in a local territory, delivering consultative sales, building relationships, and providing ongoing client support. Representatives operate as independent contractors with flexible scheduling to grow their portfolio.

The role involves in-person meetings, benefit presentations, targeting client needs, assisting with enrollment and claims questions, and maintaining CRM records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of sales, customer service, or business development experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional demeanor and reliable work ethic.
• Ability to work independently while following established systems.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within territory.
• Health & Life license or willingness to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with small and mid-sized business clients.
• Conduct in-person meetings and benefit presentations for employees and leadership teams.
• Identify client needs and recommend appropriate supplemental coverage options.
• Support clients with enrollment, follow-up, and claims-related questions.
• Maintain accurate records using company CRM systems.
• Prospect new business through referrals, field outreach, and scheduled appointments.
• Collaborate with leadership to establish performance goals.
• Track and report daily and weekly activity.
