Job summary

Certus Home Services is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to own a territory with uncapped commission and a company vehicle. You will build a real book of business by developing relationships with homeowners and businesses, generating referrals, and closing deals from first contact to service kickoff.

This role rewards self-motivation, proactive follow-up, and disciplined prospecting, with structured training and clear paths to leadership as you grow revenue and your territory.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with 5+ years of driving experience and ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Comfort with commission-based sales and building a territorial book of business.
• Strong prospecting, follow-up, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, generate referrals, and develop your territory into a real book of business
• Conduct property inspections and diagnose pest control needs like a professional, not a salesperson reading a script
• Build and present customized service proposals to homeowners and businesses
• Own the full sales cycle from first contact to signed deal to service kickoff
• Upsell additional services that genuinely help the customer and grow your income
• Follow up on every lead fast and consistently, most deals are won or lost in the follow-up, not the pitch
• Partner with our operations team to make sure every customer's first service experience is a great one
