Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to generate profitable business for Trench Safety by developing your assigned territory, executing sales plans and expanding the customer base.

You will collaborate with Sunbelt engineers and field teams, prepare proposals, manage CRM, and achieve annual territory growth targets. A bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in equipment rental or construction sales are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience in equipment rental or shoring industry, plus 2+ years of direct sales experience.
• Strong project management, new business development and customer retention skills are required.
• Proven sales track record in a solution-selling approach is preferred.
• Ability to analyze problems, collect data, and convey technical information to engineers and managers.

Responsibilities

• Embrace and promote Sunbelt’s safety culture.
• Develop and execute territory sales plans to grow the customer base within assigned territory.
• Solicit business by calling on regular and prospective customers by phone or in person.
• Prepare proposals or bid packages with engineering input and ensure accuracy to standards.
• Provide application solutions for customers and promote safety training capabilities.
• Coordinate project specs with internal teams to meet timelines and requirements.
• Maintain CRM database with daily sales activity and site details.
• Achieve annual territory sales targets and growth KPIs.
• Collaborate with other Sunbelt OSRs to build relationships and share leads.
