Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is hiring an Outside Sales Representative in California to drive profitable business for Trench Safety. You will develop your territory, implement sales plans, and build the Sunbelt brand by expanding the customer base and maintaining current accounts.

The role requires a strong sales background, technical aptitude to explain complex solutions, and the ability to coordinate with engineers and operations to meet timelines. Veterans encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in equipment rental or shoring with 2+ years of direct sales experience.
• Proven track record in solution-selling and meeting sales targets.
• Strong technical background; able to present to engineers, PMs and executives.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory sales plans to expand customers and win new business.
• Solicit business via phone and in-person visits within the territory.
• Prepare proposals/bid packages with blueprints/plans; consult with engineers.
• Provide application solutions and promote training capabilities.
• Coordinate with internal operations to meet customer timelines.
• Maintain CRM daily with calls and site details.
• Achieve annual territory revenue and market growth targets.
