Job summary

Altitude Group is seeking an energetic outside sales professional in Des Moines to grow with our team. We train you online and hands-on in your territory, with occasional travel not required.

You’ll meet with business owners and decision-makers to present supplemental insurance products, while building your own client book. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, disciplined, and comfortable overcoming objections.

Qualifications

• Requires standing self-motivation and discipline to work independently.
• Comfortable handling objections and rejection.
• Willing to work a full-time 40-hour week and develop a personal book of business.
• Experience or training in outside sales is a plus, licensing may be reimbursed.

Responsibilities

• Call on small and medium businesses in your assigned territory to offer insurance products and services to owners, benefits managers, and employees.
• Meet face-to-face with decision-makers and give presentations to groups of 50–100+ people.
• Set follow-up appointments and review client needs; maintain your own book of business.
• Hit monthly and quarterly targets; submit sales metrics and activity daily.
