Job summary

McElroy Metal in the United States is hiring an Outside Sales Representative to service Sales Region 545, covering Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. You will build relationships with existing and prospective customers and maximize sales across the product line.

The role requires sales experience in the construction industry, metal components experience is a plus. You will report to the Regional Sales Manager and work from our hub in the territory.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in the metal components or building industry.
• Residence within the geography of the territory.
• Current Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and services current customers through personal calls, phone calls, and correspondence.
• Identifies, locates, and calls on potential customers in assigned territory.
• Establishes pricing for territory within given guidelines and quotes materials to customers.
• Helps resolve damaged material claims and other customer problems.
• Communicates between customers, manufacturing, and customer service at McElroy.
• Learns all customers, competitors, and trends in the marketplace.
• Gives training sessions and presentations to architects, designers, and other customers to demonstrate McElroy products.
• Works daily in HubSpot and keeps contacts and deals up to date.
• Collaborates on and supports growth efforts of Service Center 18.
