Job summary

Ryerson invites you to join as an Outside Sales Representative. You will work with Inside Sales and Regional Sales teams to develop precise quotes and contract proposals.

This territory covers central Pennsylvania to the Ohio border, from Lake Erie to Maryland and parts of West Virginia, with the ideal candidate residing near Ambridge, PA. You will build relationships with customers, stay ahead of industry trends, and contribute to profit through strategic sales efforts in a metal products

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 3+ years of metals/industrial sales experience.
• Experience collaborating with inside sales team members is a plus.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
• Willingness to travel and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Quickly builds strong relationships with contacts at all levels across customer organizations.
• Keeps customers informed about industry trends and Ryerson’s capabilities.
• Provides market intelligence to help shape sales strategies and pricing.
• Increases revenue within assigned customers by expanding product lines.
• Coordinates with service center management and regional teams to maintain relationships.
• All other duties as assigned.
