Job summary

Crown is seeking an Account Representative - Outside Sales for Lift Trucks in Lansing, MI. You will drive sales of lift trucks, Crown Insite products, and warehouse goods within the assigned territory, while developing existing accounts and pursuing new business opportunities.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to demo lift trucks. A bachelor's degree and prior sales experience are a plus; training occurs locally and at the corporate HQ.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication, organizational and time management skills.
• Intermittent computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Bachelor degree in business, marketing, entrepreneurship or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maximize sale of lift trucks, Crown Insite products, and warehouse products within territory.
• Develop existing accounts and seek new business.
• Analyze opportunities and build strong relationships with key personnel.
• Consult and problem solve to improve Crown's position with accounts.
• Develop territory plan to maximize customer time and outcomes.
• Prepare sales strategies, proposals and forecasts.
• Conduct product demonstrations and sales presentations.
• Maintain accurate records of sales calls and activity.
• Participate in training at local and corporate HQ.
