Job summary

SPI - Specialty Products & Insulation is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive growth across assigned territories. You will build strong customer relationships and expand sales revenues through proactive territory management.

In this role you will plan sales activities, prepare quotes, and coordinate with customer service, while traveling up to 75% of the time within a 250-mile radius. A bachelor’s degree is preferred and CRM experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license to operate a vehicle for company purposes.
• Bachelor's degree or some college preferred.
• Minimum of one-year experience as an outside sales representative selling business to business.
• CRM experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations within last 3 years on driving record.
• Overnight travel required.

Responsibilities

• Expand the sales volume and profits within the territory by actively calling on new and existing customers.
• Develop strategic sales plans and forecasts for the territory.
• Identify and pursue additional sales opportunities in current and new product lines.
• Utilize pre-call planning, market information, scheduling, and maximization of sales opportunities.
• Maintain CRM records and report on weekly sales activities and results.
