Job summary

Allegiant Business Group seeks an Outside Sales Representative to work directly with business owners and employees within an assigned local territory. This independent contractor role blends consultative selling with ongoing client support, including enrollment and claims questions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of sales, customer service, or business development experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional demeanor and reliable work ethic.
• Ability to work independently while following established systems.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within territory.
• Health & Life license or willingness to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with small and mid-sized business clients.
• Conduct in-person meetings and benefit presentations for employees and leadership teams.
• Identify client needs and recommend appropriate supplemental coverage options.
• Support clients with enrollment, follow-up, and claims-related questions.
• Maintain accurate records using company CRM systems.
• Prospect new business through referrals, field outreach, and scheduled appointments.
• Collaborate with leadership to establish performance goals.
• Track and report daily and weekly activity.
