Job summary

TruTeam in Ashland, VA is seeking an Outside Sales Associate to grow our insulation and building products distribution in a 250-mile territory. Base + Commission with uncapped earnings and strong career potential drive this opportunity.

You will build relationships, present and negotiate with customers, and process orders while leveraging the brand. Travel up to 75% and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver's license is required.
• 3-5 years of successful outside sales experience.
• General Contractor and Building industry knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial insulation, building envelope, or building science is a plus.
• Comprehension of construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with customers and promote our brand.
• Independently manage an assigned territory and prospect new customers.
• Deliver compelling presentations, negotiate effectively, and communicate clearly.
• Process dealer orders and review system generated acknowledgements.
• Travel within territory; up to 75% travel with a 250-mile radius.
