Job summary

TruTeam is seeking an ambitious Outside Sales Associate to grow our insulation and building products distribution business. You will manage your own territory, build relationships, and drive sales with uncapped commissions.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years outside sales experience, knowledge of construction, and a valid driver’s license; travel up to 75% within a 250-mile radius; strong presentation and negotiation skills; join a safety-conscious, growth-focused team.

Qualifications

• Entrepreneurial and motivated to win.
• Personable, enthusiastic, and engaging.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• 3–5 years of outside sales experience.
• General Contractor and Building industry knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial insulation, building envelope, or building science is a plus.
• Comprehension of construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with customers.
• Independently manage existing customers and territory prospecting.
• Manage a territory with a 250-mile radius and overnight travel.
• Present, negotiate, and communicate effectively in verbal and written form.
• Process dealer orders and system generated acknowledgements.
