Job summary

TruTeam is seeking an ambitious Outside Sales Associate to manage a territory and accelerate growth in insulation and building products. You will show leadership in sales, foster strong customer relationships, and drive profitability through proactive outreach.

Base + commission structure with possible high earnings; candidates should have 3–5 years of outside sales experience and a solid understanding of the construction sector. This is a safety-sensitive role requiring travel up to 75%.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license if operating a vehicle for company purposes.
• 3–5 years of successful outside sales experience.
• General Contractor and Building industry knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial insulation, building envelope, or building science is a plus.
• Comprehension of construction drawings.
• THIS IS A SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION.

Responsibilities

• Act as a business representative for our insulation and building products distribution division and drive sales in your territory.
• Build strong relationships with customers and prospect new ones.
• Independently manage existing customers and sales activity within your territory.
• Deliver effective presentations, negotiate terms, and communicate clearly.
