Job summary

Allegiant Business Group in Texas is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to build relationships with small and mid-sized businesses in a local territory. You will meet with business owners and employees in person, presenting supplemental benefit options and guiding clients through enrollment.

As an independent contractor, you control your schedule, develop your client portfolio, and pursue ongoing product and compliance training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of sales experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently within a structured system.
• Willingness to travel within assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with business clients.
• Conduct in-person meetings and benefit presentations for employees and leadership teams.
• Identify client needs and recommend appropriate supplemental coverage options.
• Support clients with enrollment, follow-up, and claims-related questions.
• Maintain accurate records using company CRM systems.
• Prospect new business through referrals, field outreach, and scheduled appointments.
• Collaborate with leadership to establish performance goals.
• Track and report daily and weekly activity.
