Job summary

Allegiant Business Group is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to work directly with business owners and employees within an assigned territory. This role blends consultative selling, relationship management, and ongoing client support as an independent contractor, with scheduling flexibility to build a client portfolio.

The position emphasizes self-motivation, organization, and long-term career development in outside sales, including structured onboarding and ongoing product and sales

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years in sales, customer service or business development preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional demeanor and reliable work ethic.
• Ability to work independently while following established systems.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within territory.
• Health & Life license or willingness to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with small and mid-sized business clients.
• Conduct in-person meetings and benefit presentations for employees and leadership teams.
• Identify client needs and recommend supplemental coverage options.
• Support clients with enrollment, follow-up, and claims-related questions.
• Maintain accurate records using CRM systems.
• Prospect new business through referrals, field outreach, and scheduled appointments.
• Collaborate with leadership to establish performance goals.
• Track and report daily and weekly activity.
