Job summary

Lansing Building Products, LLC is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow our business with contractors, remodelers, and builders. You will identify and pursue new opportunities, educate customers on our products, and build long-term relationships to help clients grow their businesses.

You will meet 8–10 daily prospects, manage sales activities in Salesforce, and work toward exceeding targets with a strong, results-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in territory management and new business development.
• Experience with CRM to manage sales activity.
• Familiarity with Building Materials, Construction, or Wholesale Territory Sales.
• College degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• New Business Development: Identify and prospect clients within your assigned territory and develop & manage leads, through 8 - 10 daily sales appointments.
• Customer Meetings: Meet face to face and educate contractors, remodelers, & builders on our products/services, demonstrating the value and benefits for their organization.
• Relationship Building: Establish and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and proactively offering solutions
• Sales Reporting: Utilize Salesforce to track and report on sales activities.
