Job summary

Lansing Building Products in Garner, NC is seeking an energetic Outside Sales Representative to grow our contractor and builder customer base. You will prospect, meet clients, and educate them on our products and services while driving sales.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of B2B outside sales, strong relationship skills, and CRM experience. College degree preferred but not required. We offer a competitive base salary plus uncapped commissions and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of territory management in B2B outside sales.
• Experience using CRM software to manage sales activity.
• Familiarity with Building Materials, Construction, or Wholesale Territory Sales.

Responsibilities

• New Business Development: identify and prospect clients within your assigned territory and manage leads, through 8–10 daily sales appointments.
• Customer Meetings: Meet face to face and educate contractors, remodelers, & builders on our products/services, demonstrating value and benefits.
• Relationship Building: Establish and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and proactively offering solutions.
• Sales Reporting: Utilize Salesforce to track and report on sales activities.
