Job summary

Richelieu is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow our local business region in the Indianapolis area. You will manage relationships with cabinet and furniture manufacturers, and woodworkers, delivering consultative sales discussions both in person and virtually.

Success depends on your ability to prospect, plan, and use CRM data to drive growth, while coordinating with customers and ensuring a high level of service. A strong understanding of building materials and cabinetry is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in outside sales or related field.
• Willing to learn and drive sales growth in a territory.
• Knowledge of building materials, kitchen/bath cabinetry, closets or millwork is a plus.
• Highly motivated, able to self-direct, plan, and manage time.
• Proficiency with MS Office; comfortable using Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Grow the local Richelieu customer base in the territory.
• Manage day-to-day sales activities with cabinet/furniture manufacturers and woodworkers.
• Conduct consultative sales discussions in person and virtually.
• Travel regularly to meet customers; lift up to 50 lbs if needed.
