Job summary

Richelieu seeks an Outside Sales Representative to grow our local business region. You will manage relationships with cabinet and furniture manufacturers, woodworkers, and retailers, conducting sales calls in person and virtually.

You must live inside the territory and be comfortable traveling regularly, with on-going CRM activity and planful time management. You will leverage your product knowledge in building materials and cabinetry, and you will receive a competitive base salary with

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, preferably outside sales in building materials or related industries.
• Eager to learn, with a drive to achieve sales growth.
• Knowledge of building materials, cabinetry or millwork is a plus.
• Highly motivated, able to self-direct and plan work.
• Proficient with CRM to track activity and follow up with customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day sales activities and customer relationships in territory.
• Engage in structured consultative sales discussions in person and virtually.
• Plan and optimize sales calls, and follow up on customer requests.
• Travel to client sites three to four days per week by own transportation.
• Maintain accurate activity in CRM and coordinate with teams as needed.
