Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to service our local lumberyard partners and grow new accounts within the assigned territory.

You will plan routes, demonstrate products, prepare bids and contracts, and resolve post-sale issues to sustain satisfaction and revenue. A background in building materials is preferred, and relocation to the territory may be required; travel will be routine.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of inside/outside sales experience.
• Experience in the Building Materials industry preferred.
• Must live in or relocate to the sales territory.
• Satisfactory criminal history check.
• Motor Vehicle Report required.
• Pre-hire drug test and non-compete agreement.

Responsibilities

• Recommend products based on customer needs and provide pricing, availability, warranties, and credit terms.
• Contact and follow up with current and prospective customers to demonstrate and explain product features.
• Prepare estimates, bids, contracts, and order forms tailored to customer requirements.
• Provide post-sale support and resolve customer issues to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Identify new sales opportunities through directories, referrals, networking, and trade events.
• Participate in industry organizations and trade shows to expand market reach and maintain industry knowledge.
