Military, Veterans and Diverse Job Seekers in San Diego, CA seeks an Outside Sales Account Executive to drive growth for merchant services. You will acquire new restaurant/club/bar accounts, build a strong pipeline, and engage decision makers through in-person meetings.

You will collaborate with account managers and operations to hit quotas while maintaining up-to-date activity in Salesforce and other CRM systems, with a remote-capable, field-first work approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree preferred; high school diploma or GED with 6 years related experience or an Associates with 4 years.
• 2 years of sales experience required; cold-calling experience a plus.
• Proven hunter mentality with ability to grow new business remotely.
• Structured territory planning and pipeline management.
• Strong financial acumen for discussing fees and finances.
• Excellent communication; confident presentations to prospective clients.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new restaurant/club/bar accounts within defined territory.
• Develop and manage a pipeline; set up in-person meetings with decision makers.
• Build relationships with prospective clients and maintain engagement.
• Meet weekly and monthly sales objectives (cold calls, appointments, presentations, closed deals).
• Collaborate with account managers, contract ops, and inside sales to meet goals.
• Stay updated on product developments, services, and sales policies.
• Retain and manage top 20% book of business for client satisfaction.
• Manage all activity in Salesforce CRM.
