Job summary

Schindler Elevator Corporation in Seattle is seeking a Territory MOD Operations Manager to lead modernization projects across the Northwest. You will develop business plans, align field teams, manage working capital and bidding processes, and drive profitability while ensuring top-tier customer service and strong relationships with builders and consultants.

The role requires 5–7 years in the elevator or service industry, a BA/BS in business or engineering, and travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Business / Management / Engineering or related field strongly preferred.
• 5-7 years in the Elevator industry or in another service-oriented business.
• Experience managing a P&L for an industrial company strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a business plan for the territory MOD operations.
• Interface with Field Superintendents and Project Managers to align material with schedules and capacity.
• Manage networking capital via asset management and billing procedures.
• Review change notices for proper cost allocation and profitability.
• Partner with MOD sales to facilitate handover for newly awarded projects.
• Support Project Managers with timelines and customer expectations.
• Develop and maintain strong commercial relationships with key customers, GCs and consultants.
• Support MOD-focused Project Managers to meet financial targets and KPIs.
• Advise on resource allocation to ensure timely, profitable project completion.
• Lead MOD operations meetings and review ongoing work to ensure efficient close-out.
