Job summary

Schindler Group seeks a Territory Operations Manager - Modernization to oversee the modernization of existing elevators across an assigned geographic span. The role requires building a robust business plan, managing budgets, and partnering with the sales team to optimize portfolio opportunities.

You will lead a team of Field Superintendents, drive project timelines, resource allocation, and maintain strong customer relationships while aligning with Schindler’s safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or technical leadership experience in the elevator industry or a service-oriented business.
• 5–7 years of experience in the elevator industry or a service-oriented business.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills; proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage operational activities for modernization of existing elevators.
• Partner with Modernization Sales on portfolio and off-portfolio opportunities within geographic span.
• Develop and execute a business plan to meet financial and non-financial objectives for the territory.
• Build and manage an operational budget and expenditures for time, materials, assets, and inventory.
• Lead and develop a team of Field Superintendents; hire and onboard new personnel.
• Drive safety training, ensure compliance with Schindler best practices.
