Job summary

Spectrum Brands, Inc. is seeking a District Merchandiser to service our products in major retailers across a defined territory. You will build displays, train store staff, and promote our consumer brands while working with little supervision and using your own transportation.

You will cover multiple stores daily, drive sales through direct consumer interactions, and participate in promotional events. The role requires flexibility, travel, and a reliable vehicle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or significant prior work experience.
• 1 to 2 years previous sales or retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining store presentation standards through building displays, fixture installation, store sets, shelf maintenance, down stock, retrofits, inventory reconciliation, display maintenance and POP installation.
• Identifying opportunities for incremental display space to drive volume goals.
• Providing product knowledge training to store personnel to allow them to better drive sales to the end user.
• Covering multiple stores daily in an assigned territory.
• Generating sales by increasing brand awareness and trial through direct interactions with consumers in assigned stores.
• Participating in promotional events in assigned territory.
• Assisting and monitoring customer satisfaction.
• Always understanding and demonstrating safe work practices to ensure a safe work environment.
• Complying with all company policies and procedures.
• Completing other duties as assigned.
