Job summary

Spectrum Brands, Inc. is seeking a District Merchandiser to service products in major retailers across the assigned territory. You will establish rapports with store personnel, set up displays, and promote Spectrum Brands products to end consumers.

Responsibilities include store sets, training staff on product knowledge, and driving sales while traveling daily within the territory. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent prior work experience.
• 1–2 years of sales or retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store presentation standards, build displays, install fixtures, and perform shelf maintenance.
• Identify opportunities for incremental display space to drive volume.
• Provide product knowledge training to store personnel to boost sales to end users.
• Cover multiple stores daily within assigned territory.
• Generate sales by increasing brand awareness and trial through consumer interactions.
• Participate in promotional events within the territory.
• Assist and monitor customer satisfaction.
• Follow safe work practices and comply with all company policies.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
