Job summary

ASCO Equipment is seeking a Material Handling Sales Representative in the Little Elm, Texas area. You will build relationships, identify opportunities, and tailor material handling solutions to customer needs while driving revenue growth and expanding ASCO's market presence.

The role requires a self-starter mindset, strong communication skills, and a mechanical aptitude to understand equipment. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is expected, along with a valid driver’s license and CRM

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Proven sales ability and excellent customer relationship skills.
• Knowledge of industrial equipment and being mechanically inclined is valuable for this position.
• Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups.
• Strong planning, problem-solving and negotiation and organizational skills.
• Solid computer skills and knowledge of general business software and G-suite platform.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• This position requires moving about in an office or warehouse setting and occasionally traversing stairs, and occasionally moving or transporting industrial equipment

Responsibilities

• Establish new business opportunities through sales calls within territory.
• Manage pre-planning, post call notes and follow-up actions using CRM tool.
• Educate customers on material handling equipment through product presentations/demos.
• Provide problem resolution, and follow-through to address customers needs.
• To generate objective based proposals for material handling solutions.
• Adhere to all safety rules and completing safety training as required.
• Represent ASCO in a positive and professional manner at all times.
