Job summary

ASCO Equipment is hiring a Material Handling Sales Representative for the Sherman, Texas market. You will build relationships, identify opportunities, and tailor equipment solutions for customers, while pursuing revenue growth and profitability in line with ASCO's expansion plan.

The role emphasizes strong sales skills, customer relations, and the ability to present and demonstrate material handling solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Proven sales ability and excellent customer relationship skills.
• Knowledge of industrial equipment and mechanically inclined is valuable.
• Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups.
• Strong planning, problem-solving and negotiation and organizational skills.
• Solid computer skills and knowledge of general business software and G-suite platform.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Position involves moving about in office/warehouse and occasional stairs and lifting equipment.

Responsibilities

• Establish new business opportunities through sales calls within territory.
• Manage pre-planning, post-call notes and follow-up actions using CRM tool.
• Educate customers on material handling equipment through product presentations/demos.
• Provide problem resolution and address customers' needs with follow-through.
• Generate objective-based proposals for material handling solutions.
• Adhere to safety rules and complete required safety training.
• Represent ASCO in a positive and professional manner at all times.
