Job summary

Halter is seeking a Territory Manager for the Piney Woods region of East Texas. You will drive new business growth, build strong customer relationships, and meet ambitious targets while representing Halter on the ground.

Travel frequently and collaborate with Product, Support, and Onboarding teams to ensure customer success. You will lead field activities, own the territory, and provide valuable feedback to enhance our precision agriculture platform.

Qualifications

• Driven attitude and strong communication abilities.
• Ranching / cattle experience and industry awareness.
• Sales and customer success expertise with new business development.
• Territory management experience in agriculture or technology.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Willingness to travel within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting new business and building a pipeline through outbound efforts.
• In-field sales and on-site demonstrations from Halter solutions.
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities with existing clients.
• Hit sales targets while managing the sales pipeline.
• Manage long-term customer relationships and post-sale support.
• Own the territory and engage stakeholders at local, state, and federal levels.
• Oversee end-to-end onboarding and smooth transition from sales to implementation.
• Gather customer feedback and advocate for their needs within the territory.
• Collaborate with support teams to resolve issues quickly.
• Attend industry events to generate leads and deepen relationships.
• Contribute to the US sales strategy for the market.
