Job summary

Becton, Dickinson and Company seeks a Territory Manager in Rhode Island to expand BD Infection Prevention and Biosurgery product sales. You will work with surgeons, OR staff, and hospital teams to educate on proper product use, provide on-site support, and drive new account development across the territory.

The role requires hospital environment experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong interpersonal and planning skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline.
• 2–3 years of relevant sales experience required.
• Operating room sales/medical device experience preferred.
• Ability to work in an operating room environment; strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow BD Infection Prevention and Biosurgery product sales within a designated territory.
• Present, educate, and provide in-services on product use to surgeons and OR staff.
• Provide on-site technical support during procedures and train hospital staff.
• Develop new prospects and establish new accounts; meet territory sales and profitability goals.
• Maintain updated product knowledge, pricing, and company policies; use the sales funnel to set goals.
• Plan and execute route plans; prioritize calls with surgeons and OR teams to maximize coverage.
