Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Territory Manager Market Support to cover for Territory Managers and to build relationships with customers while selling food and non-food items to meet sales goals. The role includes traveling to customer sites, coordinating with teams, and transitioning to a Territory Manager in about 9 to 12 months.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of sales experience preferred.
• Foodservice/culinary/hospitality experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Foster the customer relationship in a team-based selling model.
• Manage deliveries to the routing schedule; troubleshoot order problems.
• Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary with credit.
• Leverage resources to assist with top penetration opportunities and new accounts.
• Develop new business; identify prospective customers using market intelligence and leads.
