Job summary

Donaldson is seeking a highly motivated Territory Manager to drive growth and expand market share across the Western Region. You will develop strategic customer relationships, support distributors and OEMs, and lead technical sales efforts for hydraulic filtration solutions.

The role requires a track record in industrial sales, strong communication, and the ability to travel up to 60% across multiple states. Remote candidates within the Western US are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of industrial, fluid power, hydraulics, filtration, or other technical sales
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual sales, profitability, and market share objectives within the assigned territory
• Develop and execute territory growth plans focused on distributor expansion, OEM engagement, and end-user development
• Build and maintain relationships with distributors, fluid power integrators, OEMs, and key industrial accounts
• Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities across manufacturing, mining, energy, and industrial markets
• Conduct customer visits, product demonstrations, and technical presentations
• Partner with distributor sales teams to execute joint account plans
• Support customers with product selection and application recommendations
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting
• Monitor competitive activity and market trends
• Represent Donaldson at industry trade shows and customer events
