Job summary

Donaldson Company is seeking a Senior Territory Manager to drive growth across the Lower Northeast region in a remote-based role. You will lead end-user engagement, train distributors, and partner with inside sales to expand the customer base, while managing a multi-state territory.

Travel up to 60% within the territory is required. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of outside sales experience, a bachelor’s degree, and a proven track record in Food & Beverage or manufacturing industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required; high school diploma with equivalent experience also considered.
• 5+ years outside sales experience; track record in multi-state territories preferred.
• Experience selling to Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical manufacturers, or related industries is advantageous.

Donaldson’s Senior **Territory Manager** role will be focused on selling filtration products to Food and Beverage, Pharmaceutical manufacturers and resellers. This role will cover Lower Northeast (PA, NJ, MD, DE, WV, VA, NC). This opportunity is ideal for a self-starter with previous industry-relevant experience. This is a remote-based position, and the proper candidate must live within the territory.**Travel:** Up to 50%**Role Responsibilities:*** Growing sales within the assigned region + Direct end-users + Recruit and accelerate sales with distributor partners + Train distributors and end users to maximize potential sales of Donaldson products* Identify and grow process filtration business with food and beverage equipment manufacturers (OEM), engineering firms, and strategic end-users* Developing and executing a strategic territory plan to grow revenue and profitability* Expanding customer base through networking, lead follow-up and conversion* Collaborating with our field sales and inside sales team to cultivate and share leads* Developing and maintaining opportunity funnel within Microsoft CRM* Travel within the geographic territory at least 60%**Minimum Qualifications:*** **Minimum Qualifications:*** Bachelor’s degree* 5+ years of outside sales experience* 3+ years of experience covering a multi-state territory**OR*** High School diploma* 7+ years of outside sales experience* 3+ years of experience covering a multi-state territory**Preferred Qualifications:*** Strong sales aptitude* Energetic and self-motivated* Excellent time management and multitasking skills* Follow-up and attention to detail* Ability to build solid relationships* Food & Bev manufacturing/industry experience**Annual Salary Range :** $101,680-$139,810. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to applicable work experience, training, education, performance.
