Job summary

Donaldson is seeking a technically minded Senior Territory Manager based in Germany to drive expansion across Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and East-European countries. You will collaborate with distributors, provide technical guidance, and lead growth initiatives in your territory.

The role emphasizes field-based work with home-office flexibility, strong sales performance, and close coordination with engineering and marketing teams to deliver tailored filtration solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial sales, ideally hydraulics, fluid power, or related sector.
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving in complex systems.
• Proven track record of sales achievement and customer success.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English.
• Willingness to travel ~50% mostly to Germany, Austria, Switzerland and East-Europe.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop your territory, drive growth by expanding existing accounts and uncovering new opportunities.
• Cultivate deep relationships with distributors, aligning on strategy and supporting their sales efforts.
• Partner with distributor teams on customer visits, project development, application insights, and technical recommendations.
• Deliver impactful product training and technical support to maximize distributor effectiveness.
• Apply hydraulics knowledge to provide consultative guidance solving reliability and contamination issues via advanced filtration solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, product management, customer service, marketing) to meet partner and customer needs.
