Job summary

Leggett & Platt Flooring Products is seeking a Territory Manager to support Central & Southern Ohio and Kentucky, expanding sales and developing new business across the Midwest region.

The role requires resourcefulness, self-motivation, and strategic thinking to service long-term customers and identify qualified prospects. Overnight travel is required to cover the territory and report progress to management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of successful sales experience (outside sales preferred).
• Bachelor's degree if there is no direct sales experience, preferably in a business-related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & Power BI.
• Overnight travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Expand sales across the territory and grow customer base.
• Assist customers with product knowledge and training.
• Represent products at trade shows and similar events.
• Collaborate with manufacturing facilities to ensure product quality and timelines.
• Support the customer service team to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Manage account pricing to meet profitability targets.
• Resolve account and credit issues in a timely manner.
