Job summary

Leggett & Platt Inc. is seeking a Branch Manager in Morris, IL to lead our Flooring underlayment operation with full P&L responsibility. You’ll partner with Sales, HR, Quality, and Operations to drive profitability, safety, and on-time delivery.

The role requires at least 5 years of manufacturing/warehousing management experience and strong communication skills. You’ll recruit and develop staff, establish standards, and maintain a high-performance team.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of manufacturing and/or warehousing management experience including P&L.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own full P&L for the branch and drive profitability.
• Partner with Sales to manage customer relationships.
• Ensure safe operations and EH&S compliance.
• Oversee staffing, production scheduling, quality, and on-time delivery.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with HR, Quality, CS, Engineering, and Accounting.
• Recruit, develop, and implement succession plans to improve retention.
• Maintain quality service by upholding organizational standards.
• Follow company policies and procedures and drive productivity improvements.
