Job summary

Leggett & Platt Flooring Products is seeking a Territory Manager to join our Midwest Region sales team. You will service Central & Southern Ohio and Kentucky, growing existing accounts and pursuing new prospects while representing our foam, rubber, and fiber-based flooring underlayment products.

This role requires a resourceful, self-motivated professional with sales experience, and travel as needed to collaborate with manufacturing facilities and the customer service team to ensure customer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of successful sales experience (outside sales preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field if there is no direct sales experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & Power BI.
• Overnight travel as needed.

Leggett & Platt Flooring Products is searching for a Territory Manager to join our collaborative, innovative, and close-knit Midwest Region sales team. This position will support Central & Southern Ohio and Kentucky, servicing existing customers as well as new prospective customers. Leggett & Platt Flooring Products is the largest manufacturer of carpet cushion and hard surface underlayment in the United States. We manufacture and distribute foam, rubber, and fiber-based flooring underlayment for residential and commercial use. Our flooring underlayment products provide support, cushioning, and noise reduction under virtually any finished flooring material in your home or business. If you join our team, your work will ensure people across the world have a little more comfort in their lives.

We are looking for someone who is resourceful, self-motivated, and strategic in their approach to servicing long-term customers and researching, qualifying, and developing prospective customers in the market. This person will be responsible for executing a sales strategy and reporting progress to management.

So, what will you be doing as a Territory Manager?

• Expanding sales

To be successful in this role, you'll need:
