Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Territory Manager for Carpet Soft Surface Flooring to cover the St. Louis market and other parts of Missouri.

You will develop relationships with flooring dealers and designers, drive sales, and promote Shaw Floors, Anderson Tuftex, and Philly Commercial products. The role requires travel within the market, lifting up to 50 pounds, and a flexible schedule. Proficiency with Salesforce.com and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or GED required; completion of Shaw sales trainee program can substitute for experience.
• Must reside in the market and be able to travel in a vehicle that can carry product samples (van/SUV).
• Ability to lift samples and build displays up to 50 pounds; flexible schedule including some evenings.
• Proven ability with a laptop and MS Windows software; prior outside sales experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily sales calls on existing customers with emphasis on hard surface flooring products.
• Present products to retailers, designers and end-users; analyze leads from corporate reports.
• Sell and construct display racks; continue prospecting for new accounts in the territory.
