Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is hiring a Territory Manager for Shockwave Medical Inc. in Memphis, TN. The role focuses on promoting Shockwave products to physicians in hospital settings, building relationships, and achieving territory sales targets.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 2+ years in hospital-based life sciences sales (cardiovascular preferred), and a proven ability to meet quarterly and annual sales plans. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to promote Shockwave products to hospital staff and physicians.
• Meet physicians and hospital personnel to determine customers’ needs, goals, product usage, and types of cases handled.
• Educate customers on products and proper clinical usage by delivering presentations and demonstrations.
• Routinely attend procedures in hospital operating rooms and advise on product usage.
• Responsible for attainment of sales/revenue objectives for the territory to meet quota.
• Partner with Clinical, Field Clinical Reps, Marketing, R&D and other units to identify selling opportunities.
• Conduct consultative sales calls with Interventional Cardiologists, and Vascular Surgeons.
• Build and maintain solid customer relationships.
• Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge and speak clinically to physicians.
• Complete and process timely reports including sales summaries and targeting reports.
• Maintain ethics and comply with FDA and quality standards.
