Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of outside sales experience.
• Experience in hydraulics, fluid power, heavy equipment, or construction.
• 1+ year of lead, supervisor, or manager experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• High initiative, accountability, and self-motivation.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while prospecting for new business.
• Plan, execute, and adjust daily sales calls to meet territory goals.
• Independently manage territory scheduling, routing, and travel efficiency.
• Continuously evaluate route effectiveness to improve productivity and coverage.
• Analyze customer activity, sales trends, and territory performance to prioritize accounts.
• Identify customer needs and recommend hydraulic, fluid power, or heavy-equipment solutions.
• Negotiate pricing, close sales, and maintain profitability.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, sales activity logs, and pipeline updates.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and exceptional customer service.
• Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions.
