Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking an ambitious Outside Sales Representative in Columbus, OH. You will identify new business opportunities, meet with prospective clients, and build long-term relationships while promoting staffing solutions.

The role offers a base salary of $40,000–$50,000 per year plus commission, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and opportunities for growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Previous outside sales, business development, recruiting, staffing, or account management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable making cold calls and initiating conversations with new prospects.
• Self-motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented.
• Ability to manage your own schedule and prioritize multiple opportunities.
• Professional demeanor and strong customer-service skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, email outreach, and in-person prospecting.
• Schedule and conduct meetings with prospective clients to understand their staffing needs.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and decision-makers.
• Present staffing solutions and explain the value our agency provides.
• Develop and manage a consistent sales pipeline.
• Follow up with prospects and clients to convert opportunities into new business.
• Work closely with recruiting and operations teams to ensure client staffing needs are met.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity, prospects, and client interactions.
• Attend networking events, business meetings, and community events to generate leads.
• Meet or exceed established sales and business-development goals.
