Job summary

VITAS Healthcare Corporation is seeking a dedicated Representative to educate physicians and healthcare leaders about the value of hospice care. You will build trusted relationships, guide referrals, and champion Medicare hospice benefits while coordinating with clinical partners.

You will operate across your territory, visiting physician offices, hospitals, and care facilities to ensure timely, appropriate patient care and meaningful connections.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years sales experience or healthcare services preferred.
• Proven ability to work in competitive environments with accountability and teamwork.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and solution creation.
• Past military service a plus; volunteer organization experience a plus.
• Hospice experience preferred but not required; strong track record on meeting goals.

Responsibilities

• Educate physicians, healthcare leaders and professionals about hospice value.
• Build trusted relationships with physician and healthcare stakeholders.
• Guide referral sources through prognostication and hospice discussions for families.
• Champion Medicare hospice benefits and coordinate with clinical partners.
• Grow territory by conducting sales calls and building long-term partnerships.
