Job summary

PacWest Machinery LLC in Mount Vernon, WA is seeking an outside Sales Representative to cover the North Sound region, including Snohomish, Skagit, Whatcom, San Juan and Island Counties. You will sell, rent and lease Volvo and related equipment, while building lasting customer relationships and providing on-site demonstrations.

The role centers on achieving profitable sales and rental results in a defined territory, with travel across the district and occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in construction equipment sales or related sector.
• College degree preferred; experience may substitute with education.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and online specification/ordering software.
• Clear communication with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
• Ability to travel territory with occasional overnight stays.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Manages a designated territory and maximizes PacWest presence on equipment purchases.
• Sells, rents and leases new and used Volvo and complementary equipment.
• Quotes and negotiates prices, delivers contracts and closes orders.
• Grows and develops relationships and customer loyalty to increase market share, total revenue and gross profit.
• Works with customers and potential customers to provide solutions to their equipment needs.
• Provides on-site expertise for demonstrations, machine inspections and technical support.
• Attends training and sales meetings as required to stay current with new equipment and promotions.
• Keeps accurate and up-to-date information in the company’s sales tracking system and controls sales expenses.
