Job summary

Interstate Batteries is seeking a Business Development Specialist I to grow and manage a strategic group of customers within the distributor network. You will land new ILD and NAC accounts, travel regularly to engage dealers, and educate them on programs, products, and services we offer.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of business-to-business sales experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop sales.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, pursue, and land new ILD and NAC customers for the Distributor.
• Develop 100 +/- growth dealers and maintain relationships through in-person meetings and site visits.
• Execute business reviews on growth dealers and leverage Salesforce for prospecting and pipeline development.
• Meet or exceed targets including new unit sales and growth dealer goals.
