Job summary

Shaw Sports Turf is seeking a Territory Development Manager to expand market coverage and prepare high-potential sellers for independent territory ownership. You will train with an experienced manager and progress through a structured 12–24 month plan within a defined sub-territory.

Role requires strong relationship skills, strategic planning, and the ability to learn technical products and complex project-based sales processes. Frequent travel and a team-oriented environment are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred depending on experience.
• Field sales experience and ability to travel up to 75% are essential.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills are needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with owners, architects, contractors, dealers, end users and influencers.
• Identify, qualify, document and advance project opportunities within the market.
• Conduct customer meetings, site visits, and product education sessions.
• Support specifications, RFIs, and proposals within approved authority.
• Maintain accounts, activities, opportunities, and forecasts in Salesforce.
• Build territory coverage plans using market mapping and competitive intel.
• Coordinate with PM, Ops, Marketing, and Customer Service for strong customer experience.
• Represent Shaw Sports Turf at trade shows and customer events.
