Job summary

Shaw Sports Turf is seeking a Territory Manager to drive business within a defined region. You will engage end users, distributors, and contractors with a consultative selling approach to recommend suitable turf systems aligned with usage, budget, and timelines.

You will travel 50–75% to visit customers, build partnerships, and present to diverse stakeholders. A strong understanding of the product line and sports field construction is essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• 5 years previous outside sales experience or qualified sales training program completion.
• 50% to 75% Travel required.
• Must reside within territory.

Responsibilities

• Use a consultative approach with end users, distributors, contractors, architects, engineers to select appropriate systems for projects.
• Establish / maintain relationships and grow distribution partners.
• Give presentations to end-users, school boards, facilities management personnel, senior stakeholders in athletic programs, architects, and engineers to educate them on Shaw Sports Turf benefits.
• Travel throughout the assigned area to call on existing customers and prospect new customers to solicit business.
• Build relationships with existing and new customers through lunches, dinners, or special events.
• Attend Regional and National Conventions when required.
• Establish a presence with end use networking groups in your territory.
• Fully understand the product line, procurement processes, and sports field construction.
