MBC Talent Connections in Hartford, CT area is seeking a Territory Manager to develop new business across Connecticut, Western Massachusetts, and Upstate New York. This highly field-oriented role focuses on building relationships with distributors and manufacturers while independently growing the territory.

The candidate will identify opportunities, expand existing business, introduce products, and travel 75–90% with four field days per week and one day for planning and coordination.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant sales or account management experience.
• Experience with distributors, broadliners, or manufacturers.
• Experience selling a large product portfolio or hundreds of SKUs.
• Willingness to travel 75–90% and live near Hartford, CT.
• Food industry or frozen-product experience preferred.
• Proven ability to develop a territory from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and expand distributor and manufacturer accounts.
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and introduce new products.
• Conduct regular in-person customer visits across the territory.
• Spend about four days per week in the field; one remote planning day.
• Provide regular sales reports and territory performance data.
• Work with internal teams to resolve issues and support customers.
• Own territory development and sales growth.
