Job summary

Crocodile Cloth is seeking an Area Growth Representative to lead growth across a large territory from the Kansas City area. This is not an office-based role; you will spend your week on the road, visiting retailers and building relationships with store and branch managers to win new stocking locations and ensure strong in-store placement.

You will conduct high-volume in-person site visits, merchandise existing locations, and drive promotions and product demos to convert managers into Crocodile

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, a clean driving record and a reliable, insured vehicle.
• A degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Win new stocking locations by identifying and visiting independent retailers, including electrical supply houses, lumber yards, hardware stores and local grocery chains.
• Convert locations where Crocodile Cloth is set up nationally but not stocked locally, such as Ace Hardware, NAPA and City Electric, into stocking locations.
• Complete a high volume of in-person site visits across your territory, planning your own routes to make every day count.
• Merchandise and upsell at existing stocking locations, securing preferential shelf placement and off-shelf displays.
• Turn store managers into Crocodile Cloth fans through samples, promotions, product demos and in-store events.
• Hand over newly closed accounts to our Regional Growth Support Associate and Account Management team for a smooth onboarding.
• Execute promotions planned by head office and represent Crocodile Cloth at trade shows and table days.
• Log your visits, account signings and pipeline in Salesforce, and track your own progress against monthly and quarterly targets.
