Job summary

Bunzl Kansas City is seeking a District Sales Manager to lead 5-10 field-based Territory Sales Representatives in the Redistribution/R3 segment. You will coach, train, and motivate the team, develop plans, and drive regional sales strategies across Missouri, Iowa, Kansas, South Dakota, Arkansas, and Nebraska.

Ideal candidates live near Kansas City and can work in the office part-time while traveling regionally.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong field based outside sales and territory management experience.
• Proven leadership and coaching ability with sales teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct leadership and coaching for 5-10 territory sales reps in Midwest.
• Drive new business and expand sales in existing accounts with new products.
• Lead team meetings to share ideas for revenue and margin growth.
• Forecast pipelines, pricing, and overall sales targets.
• Develop and execute sales strategies for a segmented structure.
• Maintain CRM data quality and analyze performance trends.
• Build strong relationships with current and prospective customers.
